Is this a UK outbreak and was it recent? There have been some product recalls recently due to potential risk of salmonella but I can’t think of any listeria contamination other than Waitrose Scottish Smoked Salmon product recall back in August? There was an outbreak of listeria, a while back, in a hospital due to contaminated sandwiches from Anchor? Foods most likely to harbour listeria are most often ready-to-eat refrigerated and processed foods such as: pre-prepared cooked and chilled meals, soft cheeses, cold cuts of meat, pâtés, preprepared sandwiches and smoked fish.

You need to be more specific to the Country of outbreak and time frame as food recalls occur in different countries at different times.

I am not sure why this is in the allergy section?
