Don’t waste your money on diet pills. There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.
Dear, I would strongly recommend you to follow a normal healthy diet and not to take any “diet pills”. Quite all of the dietary supplements ( Please, bear in mind that some of the too advertised are not safe at all), special diets ( liquid diet, egg diet, Atkinson’s diet) are not healthy and lead to reduction of your weight and easy gaining again after .
Ask yourself : Is that worth? Inevitably, you would get more stress from keeping a dietary regime.
Prozac is compatible with lots of food supplements for weight-lose , but you need to know exactly what contains the particular supplement.
I would tell you a couple of 100% natural remedies, compatible while you are on Prozak..Drink at least 1-2 cups of green tea ( Would be better of you take Mate tea, it increases metabolism and is a must in all diets), Take 1tsp of Pectin 30min before your main dish ( will detoxify your body) and drink as much grapefruit juice as you wish, plus plenty of pure water. The extract of Ginkgo Biloba is also excellent.
You should look more at not taking the diet pills at all as some of them also precipitate depression. My advice would be take it slow and change your eating habits, start doing mild physical activity, you can start with walking. Walking and slight physical activity increase some chemicals in your body that also help with improving your mood and you will find yourself slowly even stopping prozac and be out of your depression. Good luck we all love you!!
Please do not take any pills for controlling ur weight unless ur doc advises u to do so. In that case, let him do the close monitoring.
U can adopt the following practice.
Eat healthy and not junk food only when u r hungry and that too not more than three times a day. No Solid/Liquid in between except water. Chew each morsel of food 32 times and see the beneficial effect it has on u. U get clear message to stop further eating.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
This will enable u to achieve the ideal weight in a reasonable time.
I wouldn’t take any diet pill with Prozac, especially since many herbal preps don’t state everything in them. I know someone who took Prozac, then was off Prozac for about a week. Then she took Metabolife or something like that. (I think it had ephedra in it.) She was very young and didn’t pay attention to what was on the label. She got very sick. A strange chemical reaction took place in her body. It affected her muscles making them painful to move. It also affected her heart. Thank God there were no long-lasting effects of this, but the FDA had reports of worse effects and permanent damage.
Last year I was visiting my parents and took diet pills (Leptopril -does not contain ephedra) on top on my exercise routine and normal diet. I was 26 at the time, 5’11, 180 lbs. By week three I was sick. I had diarrhea, dry heaves, dizziness, headaches, and a general feeling of being sick. I thought I had caught the flu or something. I had lost 13 lbs in 4 days. One morning I told my mom I didn’t feel good. My vision kept blacking out and I felt (for lack of a better way to say it) stoned. Later that afternoon I was walking from the bathroom to my bedroom (a 5 foot walk) and I passed out. I was rushed to the hospital emergency where they did a bunch of tests on me.
My pulse was up to 120, My blood pressure was 150/40, they had to start me on an IV, the did an EKG on me, took blood and urine samples, and a whole barrage of other tests.
They finally got me stabilized and said that I was dehydrated and malnutritioned. I told him that I took diet pills. When I mentioned diet pill, the doctors face lit up and said that’s why. He said they can cause a whole bunch of health problems, including death. He told me to toss the diet pills or next time I might not be so lucky.
I was kept in the hospital for almost 10 hours, given 3 or 4 IVs, potassium, juices, and monitored (by the EKG, blood pressure, and heart rate machines) every 15 minutes.
Please take my story as a warning. If you seriously want to loose weight there are better ways (I know because I’ve lost weight after this)
The quickest way is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohol, and sodas.
Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.
In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)
Practice portion control. Yes, you’ll feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will start shrinking and you won’t have that feeling anymore.
Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)
Go exercise for at least an hour a day, incorporating weight training. Weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition. Also do a few yoga and pilates exercises to help tone those hard to reach and stubborn areas.

I don’t know, just not take anything given to you by the hands of Mr. Howard K. Stern. It tends to be deadly.

Have a great day!
Phentermine is a great one. You can get it from a doctor. I lost 85lbs on it and have kept if off for 2 years. The energy is amazing.

Uh, nope Phentermine and Prozac don’t mix.
Stick with an all natural diet pill that doesn’t contain Ephedra or any other stimulant.
I am a big believer in Proactol, its called a fat-binder. http://www.thefatbinder.com as it’s all natural with no side effects.

I don’t understand why you are taking this pill for so long. It may harm your health. Visit to a good Homoeopath, he might help you.
